A nurturing prepared environment where children move freely, choose purposeful work, and grow into independent, self-disciplined, and confident individuals.

Montessori Schooling

The environment at Dheeksha Montessori is a nurturing and enriching space for children to spend their important formative years of life. Our prepared environment provides immense opportunities for children to move freely and choose their own work.

  • Our trained Montessori adults prepare and update the environment to meet each child's unique needs.
  • Guides support every child with freedom to make choices within clear, respectful boundaries.
  • Older children serve as role models for younger ones, fostering a collaborative and respectful community.

Montessori Curriculum

Our classrooms are carefully prepared to encourage exploration and discovery, with materials that meet each child's developmental needs. Children leave with a sense of accomplishment and joy after meaningful work that respects their individual pace and interests.

02

Practical Life

Children learn to care for themselves and their environment through activities such as folding, buttoning, watering plants, preparing snacks, dusting, and mopping. These activities develop independence, concentration, motor skills, and grace and courtesy.

03

Sensorial

Sensorial materials offer hands-on experiences that sharpen perception through size, shape, color, texture, and sound, building observation, problem-solving, and logical thinking.

04

Mathematics

Arithmetic materials help children build a concrete understanding of numbers, quantities, place value, and the base-10 system before moving toward abstract concepts in addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

05

Language

Children progress from absorbing sounds to forming words, constructing sentences, sharing stories, and discovering reading and writing through purposeful conversations and grammar explorations.

06

Culture

Children explore history, geography, science, art, and music, learning about their community and the wider world while developing respect for diversity and all living things.
